The conference will take place at the IUT - Institut Universitaire de Technologie de Colmar which belongs to the University of Haute Alsace, France.
Haute Alsace University (Université de Haute-Alsace or UHA) is an academic institution devoted to research and student education based in the two cities of Mulhouse and Colmar.
The UHA welcomes some 8000 students on its two campuses: Mulhouse (6500 students) and Colmar (1500 students) and offers hundreds of educational programs in four main areas:
- Literature, Languages and Humanities
- Business and Management
- Law and Social Sciences
- Applied Sciences and Technologies
UHA is a high-level research institution, with 17 research units divided into 6 different areas.
The special geographical situation of UHA, which lies close to the Swiss and German borders, is favorable to the emergence of single courses leading to double or treble degrees that are recognized in the neighboring countries.
IUT - Institut Universitaire de Technologie de Colmar
In 1968, the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (Academic Institute of Technology) was created in Mulhouse and Colmar.
The IUT became independent in 1992 and various educational programs started being outsourced to the campus of Colmar. As a result, a Colmar University Department (DUC, Département de l’Université de Colmar) was created, and in 2002 it became the UFR PEPS (Pluridisciplinaire d’Enseignement Professionalisé Supérieur).
The IUT has two Campuses, the Biopôle Campus and the Grillenbreit Campus, where our conference is going to take place.
The Grillenbreit Campus is composed by many Departments, the University Library and the Universitary Restaurant.
